1) Who we are (Controller) and contact
Slydaro Team is responsible for the processing described in this Privacy Policy.

2) Age requirement (17+)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or a higher age where required by law). If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
3) Information we collect
We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information from optional permissions/features.
3.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, username, email address (as provided by you).
- Support and communications: content you submit to customer support (messages, attachments, troubleshooting details).
- Inventory and usage entries: item names, notes, tags/categories, quantities, storage locations, expiration dates, and usage logs (as you choose).
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, OS version, language, app version, identifiers/settings necessary to operate the Service.
- Usage data/analytics: interactions with the app, feature usage, approximate session times, diagnostic events.
- Crash logs and performance data: error reports and related technical data.
3.3 Location (only with permission)
- Approximate location and/or precise location, depending on what you enable in device settings and platform controls.
You can turn location access on or off at any time in your device settings.
3.4 Photos and camera (only with permission)
- Photos: used for optional inventory tracking assistance.
- No face recognition / biometrics: we do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification, and we do not create biometric templates.
4) AI / server processing for photos or text (optional)
Some features may offer AI-assisted processing of images and/or text that you choose to upload (for example, extracting grocery items from a photo or helping generate structured entries). If you use these features:
- Your image/text is processed on servers controlled by Slydaro (our own servers) solely to provide the requested output.
- We do not share the uploaded image/text or the generated output with any third party.
- We do not use uploaded image/text or generated output for marketing or to train advertising systems.
- We delete the uploaded image/text from our servers immediately after processing is completed (or as soon as reasonably possible after transient retries).
- You fully control whether to upload and generate content.
5) Cookies and similar technologies (if applicable)
If the Service includes a web component (e.g., login page, help center, embedded web views), we may use cookies and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
You can typically control cookies through browser settings. Some features may not work properly without cookies.
6) How we use information
- Provide and maintain the Service (accounts, reminders, inventory display).
- Personalize your experience (preferences, tags, settings).
- Improve and develop the Service (feature usage, bug fixes, performance).
- Security and fraud prevention (protect accounts and prevent misuse).
- Customer support (respond and troubleshoot).
- Legal compliance (comply with lawful requests and applicable laws).
We do not sell your personal information.
7) Legal bases (where required)
- Contract / necessity: to provide the Service you request.
- Legitimate interests: to improve, secure, and maintain the Service.
- Consent: for optional permissions (location, camera/photos) and optional features; you may withdraw consent via settings.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.
8) How we share information
We share information only as described below, and only to the minimum extent necessary:
- With your consent: when you direct us to share.
- With service providers / entrusted processors: infrastructure hosting, storage, support tooling, error/crash reporting, under contractual safeguards.
- For legal reasons: to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- To protect rights and safety: enforce terms, protect users, prevent fraud/security issues.
AI uploads (images/text) used for AI-assisted processing are not shared with any third party, as described in Section 4.
9) International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
10) Security
- Encryption in transit and (where appropriate) at rest
- Access controls and least-privilege practices
- Periodic security reviews/audits
- Backups and recovery measures
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
11) Data retention
- Account-related data: retained while your account is active.
- Account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days of a deletion request (unless retention is required for legal/security reasons).
- Usage analytics: retained up to 12 months.
- Support content: retained up to 6 months.
- AI uploads: deleted immediately after processing.
12) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent.

13) Platform controls
Your device and platform may provide privacy controls (e.g., tracking permission prompts, advertising identifiers, location controls). We respect these controls where applicable.
14) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, via an in-app notice). The Effective Date above indicates when this policy became effective.
15) Disputes and governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Slydaro Team’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be resolved through binding arbitration, as permitted by applicable law.
